GISC Guides and Toolkits for Companies on Impact Sourcing
Buyers’ Impact Sourcing Guide
Created in response to buyer companies’ questions about how they can get started with Impact Sourcing, the Buyers’ Impact Sourcing Guide offers practical guidance on how to develop, implement and manage an Impact Sourcing program. It builds on the experiences, lessons learned and perspectives of leading buyer companies within the GISC, and is structured around six key areas.
Reducing Poverty through Employment Toolkit
The Reducing Poverty through Employment Toolkit identifies a range of good practices, case examples, and resources to guide companies on how to get started or how to enhance existing efforts to employ, empower, and improve the advancement prospects of those living in poverty, as a part of their direct and indirect workforces.
Autism Empowerment Toolkit
Impact Sourcing in Action
Employees need a better understanding of the challenges and barriers that people with autism face, as well as an appreciation for the qualities they contribute toward enhancing business performance. People with autism want to be accepted and fully included in the workplace, but need support to get there.
Impact Sourcing Social Impact Measurement Framework
The Impact Sourcing Social Impact Measurement Framework provides companies with a standardized and logical guide for defining the intended outcomes and connected impacts of Impact Sourcing for impact workers, their households, and communities. The GISC has developed this resource as a working paper and welcomes member companies as well as experts outside the Coalition to share feedback and input to build on this approach.
